Coaching
2020 was a life changing year for me. I lost 50 pounds and I am now the healthiest and happiest I have ever been in my entire life. Beyond health, what really made everything stick was that I finally realized that I needed to bring all the aspects of my life together, instead of stressfully trying to keep them a part, in order to be truly happy. This realization, along with my love for helping people, led me to start my journey as a Life Coach through the ICF-Accredited Professional Coaching Certificate Program at NYU (May 2022).
What is Coaching? Why is it Impactful?
Coaching is a positive, goal-oriented, and motivational process of inquiry, in which a Coach actively listens to their Clients’ thoughts and feelings. The Coach also helps the Client navigate towards their own way to a happier life by creating a space where the Client can uncover insights and solutions to their dilemmas that are already within them.
The Impact of Coaching is a behavioral change caused by a fundamental shift in the way we think about and interact with others and react to what they say/do. The coaching methodology I have learned has already profoundly impacted my approach to many of the relationships in my life.
